Effects of LED Light Quality on the Growth of Pepper (Capsicum spp.) Seedlings and the Development after Transplanting

In this study, the effects of different light conditions on growth pepper seedlings and development these after transplanting were explored. Based control light, grown under radiation with proportions added blue, UV-A, far-red for 18 days. Compared control, supplementation UV-A increased seedling height whereas blue decreased. Blue treatments compactness index while have obvious inhibitory effects. The chlorophyll content treated was significantly increased, but reduced carotenoid content. Far-red activities SOD CAT decreased MDA seedlings. After transplanting, there no difference in flowering time all plants. An increase yield discovered when supplemented light. Overall, our results demonstrated that proper at stage positively produces strong healthy seedlings, could plants transplanting.
